Rich Pins show metadata right on the Pin itself, giving Pinners a richer experience and increasing engagement. There are 4 types of Rich Pins: app, article, product and recipe Pins.

Rich Pins work by displaying metadata from marked up pages on your website. Once you've applied for Rich Pins, any content on your site with metadata will turn into a Rich Pin when a user saves it.

Make sure you go to the Facebook tab to ensure the Open Graph is Enabled, then save:

2. Confirm the Blog with Pinterest

Note: You only need to validate 1 blog post URL to apply for Rich Pins on your entire domain. No need to submit all of your URLs!

Next, go to and enter a URL to a blog post that contains rich pin data.

Then, the validator will run and you will see an validation confirmation and apply now link. Verify the domain name is correct. Choose HTML and click “Apply Now”.
