Follow these instructions below to embed Google Maps into your website. Perfect for showing a map location or directions right from your site!
Embed a Map or Directions
Note: Traffic and other Maps info is sometimes not available in the embedded map.
Open Google Maps
Go to the directions, map, or Street View image you'd like to embed.
In the top left, click Menu
Click Share or embed map.
Click Embed map.
To the left of the text box, pick the size you want by clicking the Down arrow
Copy the text in the box. Paste it into the embed box on the canvas you'd like. Instructions on creating the embed box can be found here.
Note: If you are unable to paste your code, you may need to enable this in your Chrome settings.
Open your Chrome Privacy settings and select Site settings.
From there, select app.showit.com and scroll down to Clipboard and set this to allow.
You will need to refresh the Showit Design App, and after doing so you should be able to paste again.
