For a truly hands-on site building experience, you can start designing a website from an empty template, using only Showit's powerful design tools and your full creative potential. You might feel like the Bear Grylls of web design.

If you'd like to start from a completely empty site design, you can do so by adding a Blank Design.

You can add a blank design to your account by clicking on your name in the bottom left corner of the design app, then choosing to Add to Library.

There you'll have the option to add a share key. You can use this share key for adding a completely empty design.

Once that has been added to your account, you can click on your name in the bottom left again and this time choose to Create a New Design.

From there, click on Your Designs in the top right and then choose the newly added Blank Design.

Now that you have an empty website, you might be wondering... What's next?

A easy way to get the ball rolling would be to add pages or canvases from other designs straight into your empty template. This way you can pick and choose pages and canvases either from your purchased designs, or from the free Showit library to start building out your site.
