Add or Migrate a Blog to a Current Showit Site

Current Showit users can add a blog to their hosting account

To have a blog added to your account you will need to be subscribed our Basic Starter Blog (new blogs only) or Advanced Blog (migrations available on this plan) subscription options. If you are have a Tier 1 (no blog plan) subscription, you will need to reach out to our support team to first upgrade your account.

Please review all Blog Migration Details before proceeding.

Request a New Blog Setup (1-2 Business Days)


1). Log in to the Showit Design App.

2). In the Site Panel (left) with the Site Tab selected, click Site Settings.

3). Choose the Blog tab, and click on the blue button that says "Setup Your Blog."

4). Choose the "Setup New Blog" option and then click "Next."

5). Follow the steps and fill out your domain information you would like connected to your new blog.

6). Wait while our team completes the setup and replies via email with details once your blog is setup and ready for blogging!

Note: If you have requested a blog setup, you will not be able to set any DNS records or have an SSL set for your site until you have been contacted by the blog team with confirmation that your blog has been successfully set up.

Request a Blog Migration (2-4 Business Days)


⚠️ Blog Migrations are only available with our Advanced Blog Plan.

1). Log in to the Showit Design App.

2). In the Site Panel (left) with the Site Tab selected, click Site Settings.

3). Choose the Blog tab.

4). Select the "Setup Your Blog" button and choose the "Migrate Blog" option.

5). Follow the steps and fill out your domain information you would like connected to your new blog.

6). Wait while our team completes the setup and replies via email with more details once your blog is setup and ready for blogging!

Note: If you have requested a blog setup, you will not be able to set any DNS records or have an SSL set for your site until you have been contacted by the blog team with confirmation that your blog has been successfully migrated.
