At this time password protection is not available for standard Showit pages.

Password protection is only available for a blog post or page content created through WordPress. None of the content placed in a blog template within Showit can be password protected.

Set Up a Password Protected Blog Page

1) First you will need to Create a Page Template in order for your Showit blog theme to properly display a WordPress page.

Note: The content added to your Page Template in Showit will not be protected. Only the content that is added to a protected page in WordPress will be protected by a password.

2) Once your Page Template is published in Showit, you can then create a page in WordPress by logging into your blog admin.

3) Once your page has been created you can change the visibility setting int he right side panel from Public to Password protected.

4) You can set set a password that will be required when visitors to your site try to access this page.

5) Once you have done this, you can add and publish your content in WordPress for your password protected page to go live on your site!
