Using a logo is a great way to put your brand image on display in your website. If you haven't already created a logo for your site, the first step is determining if your logo will be text-based or image-based.
Consider the quality and format of your logo. Using an SVG format ensures resolution independence and better rendering, especially for small logos. Alternatively, opt for PNG-24 for better transparency and quality compared to PNG-8.
Image-Based Logos
Upload your logo image file to your media library. Then double click the existing logo image in order to replace it with your own. If there is not an existing logo image in your design, simply click to select the canvas you want to put your logo on. Then click the media library icon (bottom middle of Showit, 3 icons, right side icon) and select your logo image and add it to the canvas.
Text-Based Logos
If there isn't an image-logo in your site design there is probably a text-logo. Just double click the text logo already in your design and change the text to your business name. You can then choose to adjust the font to find the perfect one for you!
Troubleshooting Blurry Logos
Blurriness often occurs due to image compression or improper scaling.
Resize the image to smaller dimensions while maintaining quality using tools like Photoshop.
Use SVG format for resolution independence and better rendering.
Export at higher resolutions (e.g., 3x or 4x) to improve sharpness on Retina displays.
Optimize the canvas size to minimize empty space around the logo.
