“Email Whitelisting” is a term used to describe the act of allowing an email to reach your inbox. This can be helpful if you want to make sure that the emails that come from your contact form don't get blocked.

Showit uses two primary emails for delivering messages and we encourage you to whitelist and so they don’t go to your Spam folder. Whitelisting is typically accomplished by adding the sender to your contact list in whatever email client you are using but there are a few occasional exceptions. The following list shows the top 7 email clients and how to whitelist.

Apple iPhone / iPad

  • On the next screen, tap Create New Contact.

  • Tap the sender’s name in the From line.

  • Open the email.

  • Tap Done.

  • Click Yes to confirm

  • Click and drag the email into the Primary tab.

Apple Mail

  • Right-click on the sender’s email address.

  • Select Add to Contacts or Add to VIPs.

Microsoft Outlook 2013

  • Right-click on the email that you would like to add to your safe sender list

  • Hover over Junk and then click the option Never Block Sender.

  • Tap to open the email.

  • Tap the icon next to the email address.

  • Tap OK. (formerly Hotmail)

  • Open the email.

  • Click the Add to contacts link.
