In the design settings you can replace the default colors in the color palette and the default fonts with your brand fonts and colors. See exactly how to do that in this video.

Site Style and Fonts

This article covers all of the settings that you will find in the SITE STYLE tab of the Design Settings. If you would like to learn more about the FONTS tab, click here:

Color Palette

To assign your brand colors to the Design Settings Color Palette click on the SITE tab in the upper section of the left panel of Showit and then select DESIGN SETTINGS. This will drop down a window with 2 tabs: SITE STYLE and FONTS.

You can now set 8 colors for repeated and easy access use inside of the designer. The 8 colors you set will be available inside of the Properties Panel as you are customizing elements including text, shapes and icons within your site.

To change a color click on the corresponding box on the Color Palette and set the desired color by either using the color picker (your mouse will transform into a color picker when hovered over the color box) or entering in a specific hexadecimal code.

Type Styles

In the same DESIGN SETTINGS window as the Color Palette you can assign (for both Mobile and Desktop) a specific font and type settings for Title, Header, Subheading and Paragraph.

Selecting one of these categories will allow you to customize it's Color, Font, Size, Line Height, Letter Spacing, Letter Case, Bottom Margin, and Alignment that will be formatted that way every time you insert a new text box.

You also have the option to choose how you would like the Inline Links to look across your site, with options to customize the Color, Format, Hover Color, and Hover Format.

Type Styles: Desktop vs Mobile Design

If you would like to make changes to the Type Styles on either your desktop OR mobile design but not on both, you can change them independently by clicking on the underlined text corresponding to the element you would like to change. (i.e. Color, Font, Size, etc.)

From there, you will see an icon for either the desktop or mobile design. You can edit one without changing the other by clicking these icons.

Global Styles

The Global Styles setting at the bottom of the Site Style menu will allow you to change the background color for new pages and canvases, so that every time you create a new canvas it defaults to being that color.
